Susan Ustin教授は，リモートセンシング画像を用いて，ミクロ（顕微鏡）レベルから地域（流域圏）レベルまで，幅広いレベルでの環境情報取得に関する方法論の開発を研究されています。現在，UC Davis の空間情報センターの所長をつとめておられます。
